The scent of breakfast greets me even before I open my eyes, enveloping me in a familiar embrace that reminds me of Christmas mornings from my childhood. I swiftly get out of bed and throw on some pajamas, just in case Candice returned in the early hours of the morning.
I haven't felt this excited in years. Even with Jordan, when we used to visit his parents' house, it served as a stark reminder of their wealth. The large amounts of money they spent on decorations and gifts could likely sustain a small country.

I step out of the bedroom to discover Trey, standing at the stove, wearing only a red apron. His muscular ass flexes as he expertly flips a pancake onto a plate.
"Well, damn. Merry Christmas to me," I giggle, wrapping my arms around his waist.
He chuckles warmly, "Merry Christmas, Cupcake. You were sleeping so peacefully, I didn't want to wake you."
Glancing at the clock on the stove, I notice that it's almost noon.
That's what happens when you spend all night having wild, passionate sex.
Taking a seat at the table, my eyes are drawn to two elegantly wrapped boxes placed before me. "Are these for me?" I inquire, a blend of excitement and curiosity infusing my voice.

He meets my gaze with a grin. "Yeah, go ahead. Open them up."
I tear open the boxes like a child unwrapping presents on Christmas morning, anticipation and joy radiating from every eager movement. Inside the first box, I find a beautifully crafted necklace, the diamond pendant gleaming with intricate details. While I'm aware that many women may not prefer heart-shaped jewelry, I genuinely love it.
In the second box, there's a stunning forest green sweater that I had admired at the mall nearly two months ago. My eyes well up with tears as I glance up at Trey, overwhelmed with gratitude. "Thank you so much," I manage to say, my voice nearly catching in a grateful sob.
He grins, and his dimples pop out. "Anything for you, Cupcake."

He sets our loaded plates on the table before sauntering over to me.
"Here, let me," he murmurs as he gently takes the necklace. I feel the cool touch of the jewelry against my skin, and as Trey finishes securing it, he places a soft kiss on the back of my neck.
"I wasn't sure if we were doing gifts, but I got you something too. It's just at my apartment."
I hadn't planned on staying here last night, especially considering I haven't been to Trey's place since Candice moved in. So, his gift has been discreetly tucked underneath my bed for the past month. Keeping it a secret has been a challenge; the anticipation to give it to him has been building since the moment I bought it.
"That's okay, Cupcake. We can go get it later. I'm excited to see what you got," Trey reassures me, his anticipation mirroring my own.
And I can hardly wait to see his reaction to the gift!
He retrieves a jar of freshly made whipped cream from the fridge and skillfully tops our pancakes with it, adding a delicious arrangement of strawberries and bananas. "Now, it's perfect. Bon Appétit!" he exclaims.
Before diving into my food, I glance at my phone. Aside from a few emails, no one has texted me yet. Deciding to reach out to the few people I care about, including Candice, I send "Merry Christmas" messages. While I doubt she'll respond, after last night, it's evident she needs more support than ever. She's going through heartbreak, embarrassment, and loneliness. Though the last part is largely her fault for pushing everyone away, I still feel bad for her.
My mom responds back to my text immediately:
Ki, we're canceling dinner. We all got food poisoning from some bad chicken last night.
"What the fuck?" I exclaim, staring at my phone in disbelief.
"What's wrong, Cupcake?" Trey asks, his face contorting with concern.
"I guess Christmas dinner is canceled. My family got food poisoning," I mutter. I don't know why I feel disappointed; it would have been a shitshow either way. I suppose I just wanted to introduce Trey to my parents, to show them I've bounced back after what happened with Jordan. Not that Trey is a trophy or anything, but he's a better man than my ex.
Christmas is the only holiday when we all make some effort to get along, and now it's not happening. The disappointment lingers, but maybe this unexpected turn of events could lead to a more relaxed and stress-free holiday with Trey.
"I know you're disappointed, but we'll make the best out of the rest of our day. I promise." Trey says, grabbing my hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.
I force a small smile. "Yeah." I pick up my fork and start eating, my mind drifting off, wondering how they got food poisoning. And why didn't they let me know last night?
Despite the initial disappointment, I genuinely appreciate Trey's effort to make the day special in its own way. Perhaps today presents an opportunity for us to begin our own traditions and create special memories together. It's already off to a great start.
"Is there anything you would like to do tonight now?"
"I don't know," I answer, shoving pancakes into my mouth.
He chuckles, his warm laughter filling the air. "That isn't much of an answer, Cupcake, but I'll give you until after breakfast to mull it over." A mischievous wink accompanies his words as he continues enjoying his meal.
After relishing the delightful breakfast he expertly prepared and sharing the task of cleaning up the kitchen, my mind is still blank when it comes to plans for the evening.
"Well?" Trey arches an eyebrow, his expression a mix of amusement and curiosity as he leans against the counter.
I let out a groan. "Sorry, I still don't know."
He hums thoughtfully. "What did you enjoy doing when you were a kid?"
"My dad would usually work on Christmas, but when he didn't, he would get us hot chocolate and drive us around at night to look at Christmas lights," I reminisce, a nostalgic smile playing on my lips at the memory.
Those were the days when my family wasn't as fucked up as it is now. Or perhaps I was just too innocent to notice.
Trey's hazel eyes light up with emotion. "Done. Once it gets dark as heck around six, I'm taking you to see some lights." he promise brings a spark of excitement, and I can't help but look forward to reliving a cherished childhood tradition with him.
With a mischievous grin, I grab the jar of whipped cream. As he looks at me in surprise, I playfully get some on my finger and smear it on his nose.
He laughs, the sound echoing in the air, but then his expression quickly shifts. The playful atmosphere takes on a different tone as a spark of desire flickers in his eyes, adding an unexpected and tantalizing twist to our Christmas festivities.
I untie the apron from around his waist and yank it over his head. Just as I suspected, his dick is hard and ready for me. Without hesitation, I put the jar over him and twirl it around to evenly coat his long, chocolate member.
He watches with a ravenous expression. I lick the tip, gazing up at him from my seat on the kitchen chair.
"Fuck," he hisses underneath his breath.
I find myself suddenly excited to explore another role-playing fantasy of mine.
"Merry Christmas, Santa," I say seductively as I take him to the back of my throat.
